With a car you can reach all amenities within 5-10 minutes, beach, town, golf and the cosmopolitan Marina de Lagos is 3 mins away offering a selection of bars, bistros, ice cream parlours, newsagents etc. Relax with a cocktail or take a drive to the West coast for spectacular surfing beaches and late lunches.
Alternatively inland to the mountains of Monchique. Or indeed enjoy a BBQ on your own terrace. A full information pack of where to go, restaurants, and details for booking boat trips, family theme parks is in the apartment for you.
Changeover day
Changeover day can be flexible. We will always appreciate your flight number and arrival so we know what time to expect you. Should you be arriving late and require a breakfast hamper please ask - chargeable as an extra.
Accessibility
The apartment is on the 1st floor, reached by a few steps upto the front door. A lift operates to the roof terrace.
Outside
2 communal pools available for guests - main with sun loungers and the 2nd ideal for children. The childrens pool is easily visable from the lounge terrace. Each pool is set within landscaped gardens, safe and secure. Some shaded areas.
Both pools are heated from 1 April until 31 October. Car parking space just outside.
Coast/Beach
The western Algarve offers many bays and beaches to explore. A car is recommended but not essential. The long sandy stretch of Meia Praia can be reach by foot 10 minutes. This is a very clean and safe beach. Praia da Luz is small family beach 10 minutes drive and further west you will find Burgau, Salema, Zavial, Martinal - each with cafes and beach bars. All of which are family friendly.
Travel
Faro airport is 87km, a well signposted 50-60 minute drive. We can help with car hire or direct mini bus / taxi transfers.
Distances
Beach 10 mins walk / 5 mins by car. 5 mins by car to large supermarket or for a relaxing lunch or coffee in the Marina de Lagos.
